The History of Mad Engine
Mad Engine has been in business since 1987. We started out as a contract screen printer for a major shoe company as well as active sports wear life style companies and started licensing in 2000 with Marvel Comics. We have since grown to be a powerhouse in the licensing industry for kids and adults and look forward to the next blockbuster license as well as making your brand number one in the marketplace. We service every retailer in the country from High End Specialty stores to the mass market as well having distribution in Canada. Please contact our sales or licensing for more information.

Mad Engine History
In 1987, Mad Engine opened it's doors as a two machine operation.

We grew in 1991 to include 8 new machines and started doing screen printing for a major shoe company.

In 1995, we were awared Vendor of the Year from a major retailer.

1997 was the year we knew change was inevitable. We moved from Oceanside to the high tech area of Sorrento Valley in San Diego, CA. Here we expanded and grew larger than we thought possible at the time.

The new millennium brought us Spider-Man and the Marvel Universe. We hit the big time and since then have expanded into a portfolio of many major licenses to go along with our own proprietary brands.

2004 brought us West Coast Choppers and an exclusive deal with a major retailer.

Present day - Our current licenses include Marvel, Alvin and The Chipmunks, Walt Disney, Popeye, Ghostbusters, Burger King, Casper, Dennis the Menace, The Karate Kid, Star Wars, Lego Star Wars, Star Wars Clone Wars and others.
